The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain Announces
$18 Million in Sales
The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain, a private Southern Arizona community nestled high in the Sonoran Desert, announced a total of nine property sales to date in 2015 totaling $18 million, its highest volume in a biannual sales period.
Home prices this year have ranged from $1 million to $3.4 million and there are six homes under construction and three that will commence later this year.
The strong sales and construction activity follows the announcement of The Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain receiving a coveted Five-Star rating from Forbes Travel Guide in February 2015. Properties are evaluated anonymously against up to 800 rigorous and objective standards and there are only 115 five-star hotels worldwide and just two in Arizona.
The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain is a highly-customized, whole-ownership real estate community emphasizing the indoor-outdoor active desert lifestyle. Since launching sales in 2009, The Residences have sold a total of 40 properties for $70 million in revenue and now have 55 homesites available for sale. In addition to custom homesites, eight customizable floor plans are also available for purchase.
“We are pleased to see the significant momentum of sales and are excited to welcome new homeowners to our community,” said developer David Mehl. “We view the increased interest as an acknowledgement to our belief that people want the perfect blend of home ownership with the resort-style of living that The Residences provides. The recent accolade from Forbes Travel Guide is another strong validation of our guest and owner experiences.”
More that just real estate, buyers are attracted the full range of five-star hotel amenities and outdoor activities. Throughout the year, owners can take advantage of the extensive amenities at the Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain resort including a Jack Nicklaus signature 27-hole golf course, private chef and concierge services, world-class spa, pools, tennis courts, premier fitness facilities, dining and more. The area offers an extensive network of mountainous hiking and biking trails in the nearby Sonoran Desert, as well as opportunities for stargazing in a location that’s considered by many to be the stargazing capital of the world.
The nearby downtown Tucson offers a wide range of cultural events, such as music festivals and street fairs celebrating local cuisine and art. Compared with better-known Arizona destinations of Phoenix/Scottsdale, Tucson provides a more temperate climate, unique landscape and easy access to the University of Arizona campus.
