McMahon’s Prime Steakhouse

A favorite among Dove Mountain residents, McMahon’s Prime Steakhouse is a locally owned restaurant boasting an exclusive wine list and steak selection. With more than 2,600 different wines to choose from, fine cigars available to enjoy on the patio and an Ivory Lounge, McMahon’s knows how to treat its guests right.

Each month, McMahon’s Prime Steakhouse hosts a Sunday Wine Tasting with appetizers. The sampling wines are available for purchase, by the bottle or case, at wholesale price. Additionally, a Chef Demonstration is given to attendees on how to prepare the appetizers within the comfort of your home at The Residences at Dove Mountain. Admission to the wine tasting is $20 with $10 applied towards your wine purchases.

The Old Peking

It’s tradition in Hong Kong to use one chicken or duck to make several dishes. Keeping with tradition, this restaurant serves a Peking duck in three dishes. The first dish is comprised of duck skin, thin pancakes, scallions and Peking duck sauce. The second contains duck meat and chopped veggies to make a fresh lettuce wrap. Finally, a soup is made with the bones, tofu and Napa cabbage. Several delicious vegetable dishes will compliment the duck nicely, although the duck alone is plenty to feed a family of four. Definitely call ahead if you plan on ordering the Peking duck or the roast pork as it takes a few hours to prepare.
