We Are Moving...

Ordinarily, just the thought of relocating is enough to make all of us recall horrifying moving experiences, but not this time! We could not be happier about this move! Just three weeks ago, one of the three luxury models was purchased by a couple living in Japan and they plan to move in by mid-July.

The community’s new residents credit their purchase to a recent stay in our Ritz-Carlton Hotel, which sparked an interest in making it more than just a vacation destination, but instead their primary home destination.

The newly purchased Desert Sonoran Castillo model features 4,725 square feet of living space, plus a 624-square-foot casita.

It has been a momentous year for The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain. We've sold 13 homes, totaling nearly $20 million, in the last six months.

Now that we have sold the Desert Sonoran Castillo model, we will be moving our Real Estate Gallery right next door. Our new “home” is the Arizona Ranch Hacienda model, which is 4,100 square feet, plus a 624-square-foot casita. It also has a disappearing window wall in the great room, a fire pit, a spa-style pool with an outdoor kitchen and views of the 6th green of the Wild Burro golf course, as well as top-of-the-line appliances.

Own your own piece of Hohokam history at The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain

The name Hohokam, pronounced with the accent on the last syllable, means “vanishing one.” The Hohokam people occupied the land that The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain is on and the surrounding area from 300 B.C. to 1500 A.D.

Known primarily for beautiful “red-on-buff” pottery, carved shell and bone jewelry, and the small stone pallets they produced, the Hohokam also left thousands of enigmatic petroglyphs carved into rock outcrops throughout the area.

Remnants of the Hohokam culture are still present today. Mortar and pestles used for grinding mesquite beans into flour can still be seen while walking the mountain trails, various petroglyphs and rock art can be found on the surrounding mountainside.
